Quince & Co: Sparrow

Sparrow is a plain little yarn, beautiful in its simplicity. Its clean, smooth hand is crisp as you knit it. But after washing and wearing, it becomes handkerchief soft. Spun in Italy from organic linen grown in Belgium.

Please note: This yarn is categorized as fingering weight based on the YPP. The manufacturer’s stated gauge would indicate it is a sport weight yarn. This gauge produces a loose fabric. Many users consider it to actually be a fingering weight yarn and prefer it knit at a tighter gauge. Swatching (and washing and drying your swatch) is always a good idea.
